Venue hire is booked alongside party slots. Please book a party slot and simply note that this is a private venue hire. We recommend emailing the team prior to booking private venue hire to ensure your expectations are met.

Venue Hire gives you complete access to the venue for your selected number of hours. Perfect for those wanting to arrange external catering.

Our venue can comfortably fit 150 people.

The venue can be booked in 2 hour slots on Saturday and Sunday:
10:00 - 12:00
12:30 - 2:30
3:00 - 5:00
5:30 - 7:30

These slots can be combined if you would like longer than two hours.

You may self-cater food and non-alcoholic drinks
Or play nook can quote catering for you (please note private venue hire does not include any food)
Please note: due to insurance and food safety guidelines access to the Play Nook kitchen will not be permitted nor will team members be able to warm food.
If you would like to serve alcoholic beverages you will need to apply for a temporary limited liquor licence through VCGLR, please let us know if this is something you would be interested in as we will provide further information for your application.

This is charged at $625/hour.
Please be mindful to allocate set up and packdown time within your booking, for example a 3 hour function with 30 minutes set up and packdown would require a 4 hour booking.
There will be a $625 holding deposit that will be charged if the event runs over the time booked.
